I’ve recently read a couple of wonderful books about the highly intelligent corvids, ‘Crow Country’ by Mark Cocker, and ‘Corvus’ by Esther Woolfson, which inspired me to paint them, using Indian ink, quink, and black gouache, with brushes, pens and occasionally a stick. They look as dramatic against the snow as they look eerie at dusk, and make a great ink/watercolour subject.

beautiful Kate!!
I paint animals as well and a journalist I met, told me about you!
