This started as a step by step watercolour blog, which I will keep adding to occasionally, but I’ll also be adding finished work, ongoing projects, and inspiration, as well as feedback on materials and equipment. I’ve been using watercolour for the last forty years, as a painter, illustrator, textile designer and teacher, and the blog will reflect these influences and enthusiasms, and hopefully inspire some of you out there to embark on your own journey with this wonderful medium!

Amazingly beautiful…I am also a beekeeper and I wish everyone could see this much beauty in the little bee.
It’s lovely to have positive feedback from a real bee keeper!
Thanky Thanky for all this good inrafmotion!
This is spectacular work! What a gift…what an eye you have. Balance and grace. I will pass on to all.
Thanks Dear Gin
I came across your watercolour wasp about a week ago, and haven’t been able to get it out of my head. It’s stunning.
Thanks so much, that’s a lovely comment!
Hello Kate!
I really like your work! Butterflies are my favorite theme.
Please, let me know if you sell any originals.
Kind Regards,

Hi Julia, yes I do sell originals but have no butterflies at present. If I do more I will post them on the blog, and please get in touch if you are interested. Glad you like them!
Hi Julia, sorry for delay in replying. I have a few originals on my Etsy shop KateOsborneArtworks, and will be adding more gradually!
