Yellow Jug

The small glass jug was a gift from my generous brother (so far I’ve had four!) and I love the combination of deep mid yellow and the scarlet rim and handle. I’m using yellow ochre, raw sienna, hansa yellow medium, transparent yellow (handprint) pyrrole red, cerulean blue. It’s painted on the usual Saunders Waterford, with a mix of Chinese brushes, a kolinsky sable size 12 and a medium size sword brush  as well as a dip pen for the finishing touches.
